Lightning and Surge Protection Workshops 2027

These workshops will discuss the fundamental principles of lightning and surge protection from a design, engineering, investment, and administrative perspective. Topics related to formal requirements set forth by legal acts such as the Building Code, ministerial regulations, and standardization documents will also be covered.

#TOOP 4 Conference

The 4th National Scientific and Technical Conference „Trends in Lightning and Surge Protection” TOOP#4 continues a three-year initiative integrating scientific, engineering, and individual communities, and promotes good practices for protection against the effects of lightning discharges.

Light and Electricity Meeting for Local Governments

A special place in the training program is occupied by the Light and Electricity for Local Governments Meeting — a unique forum for exchanging experiences on energy management, lighting, and electromobility in cities and municipalities. During the training, experts focus on, among other things, ways to reduce electricity consumption costs for local government units and implement modern technologies that improve infrastructure efficiency. Traditionally, the event is also accompanied by an awards ceremony for the Best Illuminated Municipality and City of 2026 and the Best Lighting Investment of 2026, a competition that has been promoting good practices and recognizing the most innovative projects for years.

Workshops

Highest-level education. Expert character of the Trade Show.

Since its inception, the Light Trade Show and the Electricity Trade Show — now known as the Light and Electricity Trade Show — has been distinguished by its strong, consistently developed educational component. It’s not just a space for showcasing products and innovations; it also provides a platform for acquiring knowledge and developing skills, which in the era of digitalization, energy transformation, and dynamic technological change is crucial for the entire industry. The numbers confirm this: thousands of participants have taken advantage of the educational offerings in recent years. Join us!

Why is it worth it?

The Light and Electricity Trade Show is not just a name change — it’s an expansion of the event format and greater opportunities for Exhibitors and Partners.

Why is it worth being part of the Light and Electricity Trade Show?

Trade Show Subjects

The new integrated format better reflects the current thematic scope of the event and its international ambitions, emphasizing the synergy of key areas — electrical engineering, electronics, telecommunications, lighting and design — which are increasingly intertwined in technology and business.

ONE/SIDE MIRROR

The title of the exhibition, refers to the relationship between observer and landscape, visible and invisible. It will reflect the experiencesstudents gained during international workshops in Venice (Erasmus BiP) last year, as well as analyses and observations of the landscape, where the ephemeral and resilient nature of the Venetian landscape became an inspiration.
